Celsius in Charleston

Went here last week. Huge selection of beer and liquor. I had french onion soup-delish and bruschetta-just okay. I'm picky with bruschetta though. Flavors were great. A friend let me try the raw tuna appetizer and it was super freaking good. Definitely will come back!

Great food and service.

Wedge salad & bacon wrapped shrimp very good. Long wait between salad & shrimp, but we were a party of 8. Wait staff very pleasant. Overall a good experience for 1st visit.

We stopped for dinner and were delighted. Service was excellent. My daughter had the burger and loved it especially the sweet potato fries. Two of us had the salmon and it was made to perfection. I had the apple salad and it was great too. Great place to visit.

Really wonderful place for a delicious meal, glass of bourbon, and great company on the side. Everything we tried was tasty and the service was incredible. Hale House is a must-have for folks in Charleston!

First time visiting Hale House and I was more than impressed. The place was quite busy but we had no wait for our reservation. Despite the crowd, I didn’t think it was excessively noisy inside. The server was extremely polite and responsive. I enjoyed one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Do your mouth a favor and pay a visit to Hale House.

Terrific food and outstanding service. That made up for the rest.Tip was a not optional 20% and was called "use of room". Would have left that or more, but don't like being forced into my tip. Place was noisy. Not uncommon these days when they renovate down to bare brick walls and just paint everything above black, with nothing anywhere to deaden the racket.Great selection of whiskey, or whisky, if you like scotch.

Atmosphere,service,food - AMAZING!!!

The food really is just as good as it looks. The bar has great selection. The staff are great, super friendly people that sincerely want to make sure you have a great experience. I highly recommend checking it out.

We had dinner with our neighbors this evening. Business was buzzing on Wednesday evening. We had a short wait for our reserved table, but it was worth it. Good waiter, good appetizers, good entrees and a good time. They have an extensive bar list, fresh menu items and sides.They have free parking directly across Dickenson Street from their entrance. Give 'em a try. They're pretty good!

My wife and I recently ate at the Hale House during their soft opening. We were very impressed. Most times a soft opening is a bit rough, but our experience was pretty great. I had the Wagyu burger and the apple Salad. My wife also had an apple salad and some buffalo wings. My burger did come a little pink even though I ordered it well done, but I didn't mention it to them because it was absolutely delicious. Our server was super nice as well. Drinks-wise I had the Bourbon Sangria, and my wife tried the Lemon Drop Martini and the Raspberry Martini. I'm not a Bourbon fan at all, but the Sangria was actually pretty good. The Lemon Drop was also very good, but super sweet...pretty much exactly like drinking a sour ball candy, so be forewarned :) . The Raspeberry Martini was pretty much perfect as well. Honestly, I really had no major complaints! It's nice to have another quality option in Charleston and I wish these guys the very best success. I'll definitely be back.

A welcomed bourbon bar in downtown Charleston. With delicious food and drinks, amazing service, and attentive management even during busy restaurant week, Hale House is quickly becoming a favorite of ours.

Nice whiskey selection. Bourbon bacon shrimp was awesome. Look forward to coming back for dinner as menu looks pretty good.

I had dinner with 4 others and was seated quickly. The waiter was prompt and courteous. I ordered the crab cakes, that are made in house, and they were the best I have had in WV. I had the waygu burger for the main course prepared medium and loaded... it was mouth watering! Some of the other dishes ordered by my group were the grilled chicken and the salmon, which we all sampled and enjoyed very much. The music was slightly loud for conversation but that is just personal opinion. Bring your appetite, the portions are generous and the food is very tasty. You can't go wrong going to Hale House, a local establishment that is not a chain, they are doing things right!

Theres not a ton to choose from on the menu, but the quality is there! Presentation was great, vibe in the restaurant was great! Overall just nice to hit a new restaurant in Charleston!!!

Great setting, great atmosphere, and an amazing bourbon selection! Pair that with a friendly and knowledgeable staff and we have an absolute winner! A must visit in Charleston!

From beginning to end, everything was perfect. Kate did a brilliant job and her recommendations where on point. Excellent night out.

The martinis came and we looked at each other and said " This is one of the best I've ever had.". The crab cake appetizer came and we said OMG! The Waygu burger came and we both agreed that it was indeed the best burger we had ever tasted! We will be back!

A cool retake on a Charleston spot known for great cocktails. My favorite menu change is that there are food options ranging from $12 to about $40. This is also a great bourbon bar that has flights so you can compare different flavors. A great opportunity to learn and find the flavor that suits your pallet best. I definitely reccomend stopping by after work or making your trip there a date night. This isnt a quiet place, so going with a few friends or other couples is ideal.

Best whiskey selection in Charleston and a staff that actually discourages intoxicated individuals from making stupid decisions with said selection, to-wit: when I was "in my cups" already and browsing the list the bartender thanked me for my interest but gently persuaded me to order a diet soda. Most places I frequent would have been happy to take my money - HH wanted to ensure I remained safe and bad decision-free. Five stars.

Didn't expect it but was pleasantly surprised. Good crowd. Nice vibe, little loud though. Good selection of spirits and beers. Ordered 3 sides and 1 entree, everything tasted spot on. I was impressed with the wagyu burger. It was lightly charred and almost perfect. The BBQ sauce with pineapple stood out for me. They even had pappy van wrinkle available there. If ever I visit again, definitely doing this place.

The service was very Fast. The steak is cooked to perfection, the French fries are great and the mozzarella fritta is very good! I recommend this restaurant to everyone that is looking for something very fast and good food!

This place is excellent in service as well as quality. The hand dipped tenders are my favorite, second only to the wedge salad with grilled chicken. Very friendly staff and the owners are very personable, making sure to visit the tables, checking on everyone. Clean, safe, sanitary and delicious food. Did I mention the selection at the bar?
